Triquetra Heart Locket

This silver Pagan locket is approx 1 1/2" in length with a hinge on one side to create a nice little hideaway for your small treasures. A small triquetra is engraved onto the front.

In Paganism the symbol of the triquetra relates to the triple Goddess as Mother, Maiden, Crone and the power of three. It is believed to have celtic origins and has also been used in Christianity to represent Father, Son and Holy Ghost. No doubt the symbols' familiarity has been increased in thr mainstream due to the popularity of the U.S. series Charmed, where the triquetra is used on their Book of Shadows to represent the power of three.
